Is it just us, or is it getting cold in here?
While a little seasonal snow may be a good thing, the DC Universe is about to find itself frozen solid with the heroes of the Justice League desperate, lacking answers…and thoroughly iced out. Running all throughout December and taking place in some of DC’s most popular books, Justice League: Endless Winter is the crossover event of the season and it kicks off tomorrow with a high-action first chapter that’s heavy on the chills (both literal and figurative).
When the Justice League discovers an extinction-level storm at the former site of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, their search for answers will put them in direct conflict with the Frost King, an ancient entity who wields great power and an army of loyal soldiers. But who is he? What does he want? And what’s his tie to some of the oldest heroes in the DC Universe?
Justice League: Endless Winter is written by Andy Lanning and Ron Marz and drawn by some of the best artists working for DC today. It’s packed full of high-stakes action on the largest scale, featuring some of the most popular superteams in the DCU. It’ll also introduce fans to teams they may not have realized existed, like a volatile team from the 10th Century whose actions may have consequences for the heroes of today. It’s a story that spans across time, continents and comic titles, and it’s nearly here. But if you can’t wait—and we can’t say we blame you—make sure you check out our exclusive first look at Justice League: Endless Winter #1. Though you may want to bundle up…
Justice League: Endless Winter #1 by Andy Lanning, Ron Marz, Howard Porter, Marco Santucci, Hi-Fi and Arif Prianto is in stores and available digitally on Tuesday, December 1.
