James Wan and the Aquaman team must be in the giving spirit this holiday season, as this weekend they released over two dozen breathtaking new images from the highly anticipated new movie…and they’re pretty spectacular. There are new looks at the underwater metropolis that is Atlantis, as well as images of some if its key citizens, like Orm and Vulko. Plus, new photos of Arthur’s father, Thomas Curry (played by Temuera Morrison), Black Manta’s doomed dad, Jesse Kane (Michael Beach) and Mera’s father, King Nereus of Xebel (Dolph Lundgren). That’s a lot of dads for one batch of pics. (It’s the holiday season all right, but should someone tell Wan that Father’s Day is in June?)

The release for Aquaman is fast approaching, and we’re certainly eager to dive into the latest DC blockbuster. What about you? Have you preordered your tickets yet? Will you be seeing it on the biggest screen possible…on opening night…in 3D…dressed as Aqualad?
