The world of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and DC’s many other heroes and villains has a whole new corner for fans to explore. The DC Official Discord server—DC’s newest community of fans—is now officially open.

We’re so excited for all of you to check it out and start engaging with your fellow fans from across the world. Whether you’re new to Discord or have been using it for years, the DC Official server has been designed with you in mind, offering experiences for DC fans of all types and allowing you to tailor the experience to focus on the characters and mediums you’re most interested in. If you’re a comic continuity obsessive, you’ll meet hundreds more who share your passion for DC’s shared universe, though you’ll also find plenty of like-minded fans if you prefer to stick just to films, obsess over one single character, or are all about DC games (this is Discord, after all).

What Kind of DC Fan Are You?

As soon as you join the server, you’ll be offered a choice of several distinct roles. You can pick as many or as few as you’d like. We obviously would love for you to choose all of them, but these roles will tailor your experience in the server as well as letting others know which DC characters and projects you’re passionate about, so we suggest sticking to what you love the most or have the most interest in.

Here’s the rundown of all the roles you’ll be able to claim in the DC Official Discord Server:

  • DC Discord Founder: For all community members who join the DC Official Discord server within the first 48 hours of opening. Grab the role while you can!
  • Wednesday Warrior: For all DC Comics readers who hit their local comic shops every Wednesday!
  • Team DCUI: For all Discord community members who are subscribed to DC UNIVERSE ULTIMATE.
  • Superman: For the mighty race of Kryptonians, who always stand for truth, justice and a better tomorrow!
  • Batman: For the Knights of Gotham, who just love wearing the color black.
  • Wonder Woman: For true warriors of Themyscira!
  • Aquaman: For all the community members who keep a watchful eye on the seven seas.
  • The Flash: For the fastest community members alive!
  • Green Lantern Corps: Power Ring holders only! Accepting new recruits, no experience necessary.
  • Blue Beetle: For techie geniuses who can handle a few...bugs.
  • Titans: For community members who can have a little fun while saving the world.
  • Gang of Harleys: For those community members who can solve any problem with a giant mallet.
  • DC Studios Fan: For film fanatics that have their fingers on the pulse of all the latest and greatest from DC Studios!
  • DC Gamer: For those who love the escape of video games, always on the lookout for a co-op partner.
  • DC Community Original: For members of the original DC Community site who have joined the DC Official Discord server. All members with the DC Community Original role will have access to an exclusive private channel!
     

Keeping You Busy All Month, Every Month!

Along with the dozens of conversations happening every day among you and your fellow DC fans, you can also expect a rotating schedule of content designed to engage and entertain you—while allowing you to show off your creativity, knowledge and personality. From book clubs and giveaways to trivia nights and creator Q&As, here’s a sample of what you can expect on both a weekly and monthly basis:

  • Creator Q&A Series: Throughout the year, you’ll have the opportunity to ask your burning questions directly to one of DC’s amazing creators. From writers, to artists, to colorists and more, we’ll feature a new creator every month as they pull back the curtain to give you an exclusive look into their approach to creating for DC. Even better, just by participating in a creator Q&A, you’ll be entered in our monthly giveaways! Keep an eye out for announcements regarding question submissions, video details and more.
     
  • DC Community Book Club: Every month, 1-4 comic issues are selected as our featured DC Book Club picks. For the duration of the given month, all the Book Club comics are free-to-read on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE for all registered users! Discussion questions will be posted every week during each Book Club run and everyone is encouraged to join the discussions with your fellow DC fans in the DC Official Discord server. For July, the DC Book Club pick is DC: The New Frontier #1-3.
     
  • Giveaways and Sweepstakes:  Whether for a DC Book Club giveaway, or a one-off sweepstakes to celebrate the release of a new DC Studios movie or a new show on Max, the DC Official Discord server is your new home for our hottest giveaways and sweeps.
     
  • Mixtape Monday: Sometimes you need a little extra push to get through your Monday—and Mixtape Monday is here to help! Every Monday, we’ll post the title and theme of a new mixtape, and you help us build the playlist!
     
  • Trivia Tuesday: What is the name of Bane’s father? What planet was Sinestro born on? If you shouted, “I KNOW THAT ONE!” in response to either question, Trivia Tuesday is the event for you! Every Tuesday at 4pm ET, our resident Trivia Host HubCityQuestion will lead you through a riveting round of DC-related trivia. Do you have what it takes to become the Trivia Champion?
     
  • Riddler Wednesday: Think you have what it takes to outsmart the Riddler himself? Put your skills to the test with Riddler Wednesdays! Every week, a new riddle will get posted in the DC Official Discord server, and it’ll be up to you to solve it.
     
  • Throwback Thursday: Every Thursday, we’ll take a look back into the past history of DC and dive deep into characters, storylines and events. Join your fellow DC fans on a trip down memory lane to read about forgotten characters, see alternate versions of familiar faces, re-visit old favorites or discover new ones!
     
  • Community Member of the Month: Every month, we’ll be spotlighting a DC Official Discord server member who represents the spirit of the DC Community: positivity, inclusion, passion and respect. Each new Community Member of the Month will share a bit about themselves and why they love DC—and they have the opportunity to curate their own DC reading list, which will get featured on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE!
     
  • DC Official Stage: Every so often, we’ll hold DC Official Discord Stage events. These will include panels, group discussions, exclusive info drops, cover/art reveals and more.
