[Burbank, CA] DC announced today their highly anticipated return to Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) with a new DC Booth on the convention show floor from Wednesday, July 19, through Sunday, July 23. SDCC provides the perfect platform for DC to connect with fans, showcase exciting content, and celebrate the power of DC storytelling. Whether you’re looking for the most binge-worthy comics and TV shows, the toys and collectibles that you absolutely must have, feature films, or just the most amazing cosplay on the planet, you’ll find it where DC and SDCC come together for their fans.
With a can’t-miss lineup of panels, talent signings, and interactive experiences, DC is set to deliver an unforgettable weekend of programming. Fans can look forward to engaging directly with their favorite creators by attending in-booth signings, including an appearance by DC President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee and award-winning comic book creator, Founder and CEO of McFarlane Toys, Guinness World Record holder, and Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Todd McFarlane, and more.
Fans can also immerse themselves in the DC Universe during a World Premiere screening of Justice League: Warworld, and discover what lies ahead for their beloved DC characters during panels featuring Joshua Williamson (Superman), Josh Trujillo (Blue Beetle), Tom King (Wonder Woman), Tom Taylor (Titans), Mitch Gerads (Batman: The Brave and the Bold), Nicola Scott (Titans), Tini Howard (Catwoman), Ram V (Detective Comics), Phillip Kennedy Johnson (Action Comics), Nicole Maines (Bad Dream: A Dreamer Story), Sina Grace (Superman: The Harvests of Youth), and more.
On sale in DC’s booth will be a wide variety of comic books, graphic novels, and new merchandise from DC and DC Shop. While supplies last, DC will be selling limited printings of: a special foil cover edition of Knight Terrors: First Blood #1, limited to 1000 copies, being sold for $20.00; a special red spot foil cover edition of Knight Terrors: Batman #1, limited to 500 copies, being sold for $20.00; a retro cover edition of World’s Finest: Teen Titans #1, limited to 500 copies, being sold for $15.00; a special Superman “Big Blue” Edition featuring a blue tone cover, limited to 1500 copies, being sold for $10.00; a facsimile blank sketch cover variant of Batman #655, limited to 3000 copies, being sold for $6.00.
Silver Screen Editions of Batman #655, Booster Gold #1, Authority #1 and Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow #1, limited to 1,000 copies, will be sold for $15.00 each; Nightwing Vol. 1: Leaping Into the Light, limited to 250 copies, will be sold for $30.00; Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus Vol. 1, limited to 100 copies, will be sold for $100.00; Poison Ivy Vol. 1: The Virtuous Cycle, featuring a special wraparound cover by Jenny Frison, limited to 250 copies, will be sold for $30.00. The Sandman Helm Masterpiece Edition, limited to only 25 copies, will be sold for $750.00 each.
DC Shop will be offering fans limited inventory of three new Blue Beetle t-shirts, a “Dawn of DC” enamel pin, t-shirt and zip-front hoodie, t-shirts with new artwork commissioned from Bill Sienkiewicz, Jill Thompson, Eric Tan and Phantom City Creative, limited quantities of DC caps from 9Forty, a Gotham City Classics Batmobile Collector Pin Set featuring the 1966, 1989, 1992 and 1995 Batmobiles (along with a convention-exclusive mystery pin), and more. Cartamundi, the worldwide leader in playing cards, will be unveiling the newest collection of DC Hybrid Trading Cards by Hro at the DC Booth during San Diego Comic-Con. DC Hybrid Trading Cards allow fans to collect designs showcasing iconic art from DC’s comic book history, including fan-favorite characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and so many more. Scan the QR code on the back of each card to unlock its digital twin and join the Hro community. Visit the Hro website on July 12th to learn more about this new collection.

Television’s Preview Night on Wednesday, catch an unprecedented look at the enduring and influential legacy of DC during an advance screening of the first episode (“The Hero’s Journey”) of the three-part Max Original documentary series, Superpowered: The DC Story, held in Ballroom 20. Superpowered: The DC Story premieres July 20 on Max.

9:00-11:00pm. Justice League: Warworld - Be among the first fans to see Warner Bros. Animation’s all-new, feature-length film “Justice League: Warworld” at this World Premiere screening. In this R-rated film, DC’s Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman find themselves in mysterious lands and precarious circumstances with no memory of how they arrived there and only vague recollections of their true selves. There will also be a panel discussion in addition to the World Premiere screening. “Justice League: Warworld” will be available to own on Digital, 4K Ultra HDTMand Blu-rayTM on July 25, 2023. 12:30-1:30pm. The World of Metropolis - Superman isn’t the only force to be reckoned with in Metropolis. Attendees at Comic-Con International: San Diego will have the chance to receive an exclusive print featuring artwork from Batman: The Gargoyle of Gotham! Rafael Grampá, the writer/artist behind the upcoming the upcoming Batman: The Gargoyle of Gotham series will take place at the DC Booth on Saturday at 4:00pm. The signing will be wristbanded and limited to 100 attendees. One wristband per person. The wristband is not transferrable and does not guarantee admission. Stay tuned to the DC social media accounts on how to get a wristband for this event. The event will be first-come, first-served on the day of the event.
