One thousand issues of Batman.

By any way of measuring, that’s quite a milestone, and the graphic novel-sized Detective Comics #1027 is a fitting tribute. Featuring contributions from dozens of the best, most character-defining writers and artists to ever spend time on the Bat, Detective Comics #1027 is truly a comic for collectors. So, in that same spirit we’ve created a series of virtual collector cards to celebrate this momentous new release. Each card celebrates a pivotal first appearance that took place in the pages of Detective Comics over the years. Batman, Gordon, Robin, Peguin, the Riddler, Two-Face—they’re all here (though not Catwoman or the Joker—they both debuted in the pages of Batman).

We released the first eight cards in this week’s new comics, and you can find all the rest on the DC and DC Nation Instagram and Twitter accounts. However, we don’t think you should have to be a detective to hunt all of them down, so you can find all 27 cards in the gallery below.

Detective Comics #1027 will be available worldwide in print and as a digital comic on Tuesday, September 15th.
