Growing Editorial Slate to Add New Genres and Build on Recent Publishing Successes Including DC Universe Rebirth and DC Young Animal
DC Entertainment announced today the expansion of its publishing groups’ leadership team. Executive Editor Pat McCallum will oversee the DC Universe of superhero comic book titles; newly-promoted Executive Editor Mark Doyle will oversee Vertigo, DC Young Animal and select new projects; Vice President & Executive Editor Bobbie Chase will oversee the balance of DC’s publishing imprints including a new Young Readers’ imprint, while continuing to oversee DC Talent Development. McCallum, Doyle and Chase will report to Senior Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras.

Pat McCallum is a DC veteran, spending several years as an editor of DC titles. Most recently he was instrumental in the DC Universe Rebirth rollout.
Newly-promoted Mark Doyle began his career at DC on the Vertigo editorial team, overseeing hit titles including AMERICAN VAMPIRE, 100 BULLETS, DMZ and SCALPED, among others. Most recently, he was Group Editor for the bestselling Batman family of comic titles.
Bobbie Chase is an accomplished comic industry veteran. Over the past several years, Bobbie and her team built DC’s acclaimed Talent Development program from the ground up. Her editorial oversight will include titles such as Wildstorm, Milestone, Hanna-Barbera, kids, Digital First titles and custom comics, in addition to the brand new Young Readers’ imprint scheduled to launch in 2018.
