In DEATHSTROKE #16, Slade Wilson is still on the hunt to find his daughter Rose! It’s been 12 days since she was taken and Deathstroke has been following up on any leads, including a confrontation with the Suicide Squad, and then a stop at Lexcorp... but all tips have been dead ends.
Just as Deathstroke is about to confront Victor Ruiz, the mercenary supplying this bad information, Red Hood shows up! The deadliest member of the Bat-family has been hired to put the hurt on Deathstroke.
How crazy that at the same time his daughter goes missing, someone is hired to hurt {but not kill) him. Coincidence? Deathstroke sure doesn’t believe that. The two epically battle it out, and only when Victor shows up with a bazooka is Red Hood knocked out.
And now it turns out Victor has a fresh tip that Rose is in Montana, and even though Deathstroke is severely beaten and knows it’s a trap, he goes.
Then this just happened:
Rose is definitely in Montana, but she’s not a captive, she wants to kill her dad! It seems she’s joined up with Snakebite and Lawman, and with the help of the sleazy Victor, the weakened Deathstroke will have to face all of them, and find out why his daughter has turned against him!
This issue, from writer James Bonny and artists Paulo Pantalena, Arif Prianto (colors), and Dave Sharpe (letters), is action packed from start to finish!
