But Gotham needs Batman. And Tim is the Batman they've got. In a future at war, Tim is the soldier they need. Even if his suit fails him, even if he's powerless to resist The Eye, Tim will fight. Tim will be Batman.

But when all seems lost, an old friend takes him back where it all started. Will a gift from the past give Tim what he needs to save the future?
