We’ve only seen a few seconds of video and a handful of still photos of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it’s been more than enough to confirm that we’re in for a much more contemporary take on the character when Zack Snyder’s super-powered blockbuster debuts next March. Younger, but just as powerful and mistrustful of the Man of Steel, Eisenberg’s Lex seems to draw inspiration from the under-30 CEOs of Silicon Valley, something that’s made clear in the most recent image of him, which debuted alongside new photos of Batman and Superman in this month’s Empire magazine.
If you haven’t had a chance to grab a copy, or you missed the images when Empire debuted them online last week, you can check them out below. But do be sure to grab the issue. It’s not only a great article which discusses both Batman v Superman as well as Warner Bros.’s upcoming slate of DC movies, but also includes a few additional photos that you won’t find here.
So what do you think of the photos? And do you suppose LexCorp is hiring? Yes, you’d be working for a power-hungry madman, but…c’mon! Office basketball court!!!
