Buddy Baker’s family has suffered again and again as they navigate the bloody seas of the Red. The Parliament of Limbs have chosen little Maxine as their next Avatar, but Brother Blood has torn through the last defenders of the Red and only needs to kill Maxine before he can rule. And he’s got her literally in his grip!

And Buddy’s new powers might be enough to protect Maxine, but self-proclaimed “King of Limbs” Lord Totem has other plans for Animal Man. Once Baker is out of the way, Totem can access all the powers of the Red from all galaxies. If you thought the Bakers’ had already suffered enough, just imagine what happens if they fall!
